# Buy ownership or take cash

Use the correct Market review, understand what is fixed, and retain the actual trade result.

## Inspect before buying

Read the Original, offered rights, exact units and source history. Whole-object value, share price, backing and available liquidity are different. Confirm which action the selected asset supports. Native-backed ownership deliberately uses its native review; a public certificate does not independently create a funded offer or current holding.

**One trade from request through accepted result**

1. Inspect: Source and offered rights.
2. Prepare: Budget or exact units.
3. Approve: Actual supported review.
4. Retain: Recorded trade and original nonce.

## Generic Market purchase

1. **Choose Buy ownership** — Enter Dollar budget (USD) or an available preset.
2. **Review trade** — Inspect Proof object, Maximum budget, Estimated units and Estimated settlement.
3. **Approve the budget** — Use I approve this budget at the live execution price.
4. **Confirm purchase** — The budget is fixed; actual units, price, spread and funding split are determined by execution.

## Generic Market sale

1. **Choose Take cash** — Sell ownership opens with Dollars (USD) as the default input.
2. **Choose the requested unit** — Use Dollar amount to sell (USD), or change Sell amount in to Ownership units for an exact quantity.
3. **Use position presets only from held shares** — 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% round down at microshare precision. All uses the exact complete quantity.
4. **Review and Confirm sale** — A quantity sale fixes units; proceeds can change. A dollar sale targets proceeds within owned shares.

## Native-backed ownership review

For a supported native-backed asset, review Ownership to buy/sell and Use value from or Receive in → Reserve/Settlement. The native exact review binds asset, quantity, current authority, offer, fee and financial terms. The stable asset ID selects the current source/head and genuine funded offers. This route does not invent physical release or an obligation for a bank to buy any asset.

**Preparation does not equal execution**

| Coordinate | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Generic quote | Advisory, not an executed price lock. |
| Native review | Exact supported operation and current source terms. |
| Card funding | Separate consent and confirmed-credit path when used. |
| Trade recorded | Actual bound trade, position and Ledger rows have been validated and retained. |

## Recover before another trade

Confirming your trade exposes Check trade outcome for the same account and client nonce. A missing lookup does not authorize another execution. Cancel unconfirmed trade requests closure of that exact nonce; it returns the committed result or confirms a closed request with no money moved. Failed closure stays pending. Save trade record exports a Market observation retaining the original rows; it is not a newly issued native receipt or ownership admission.
